About Me

Hi, I’m Rachel Passarini,
RDH, BSDH, OMT
Since 2011, I’ve worked hands-on in the dental field, helping patients improve their oral health. But my path became deeply personal when I became a worried mom searching for answers for my own son. I started noticing things that didn’t add up—mouth breathing, restless sleep, teeth grinding, and other issues that were being treated separately, but never fully explained. I kept asking: what is the root cause?
That search changed everything.
What started as a mother trying to help her child turned into a deeper understanding of how these symptoms are all connected to underlying oral and facial muscle dysfunction. That realization led me to myofunctional therapy—and ultimately to building a way to help other parents who were just like me, looking for real answers.
I founded The Face Myologist to support children, teens, and adults in correcting the habits and muscle patterns that affect breathing, oral posture, sleep, and overall wellness. My approach blends personalized therapy programs with years of dental experience, giving families practical tools they can use for life—not just temporary fixes.
